The Queens Oak

Welcome to the Huntingfield Queens Oak Website.

Huntingfield is a small village situated close to the town of Halesworth in Suffolk and approximately halfway between Ipswich and Norwich.

The history of Huntingfield goes back many hundreds of years and was presided over by the Baron de Huntingfield who was one of the 25 Barons who forced the then King John to sign the Magna Carta in 1215 and now over 800 years ago. By following various links on  various pages, you can learn more about Huntingfield, the Queens Oaks, the Magna Carta and my weather and astronomical page which gives local information and again links to other pages which some visitors may find interesting or not as the case may be. Other pages will be added to the list but essentially the site is still in development.
